Holiday Hangover

After Christmas and all the activities we decided that we needed to stay home and recoup. In fact, Andy even wrote: "Holiday Hangover" across several of the days on the calendar.
The girls loved playing with all their new toys. They set up Squinkyville, played with the doll house, rode the skateboard, hopped on the pogo stick, jumped on the trampoline, played dress up, did each others makeup... the list goes on and on.
Yes, we even let Hailey skateboard in doors,
she watched a few YouTube videos to learn (kinda like when she learned to hula hoop),
but it wasn't quite as successful. At least not yet.
Hailey painted a few of her princess canvases,
did a little makeup,
and even did Tegan's make-up, hair and nails,

oh yeah, and she "pierced" Tegan's nose too,
How about makeup to go skateboarding?

Lots of dress-up went on,

they even dressed up their lovies,
and dressed up along with getting ready to go "pogo sticking"?

Well, and okay, after a few days of all this, we did get a little stir crazy and needed to get out, so we went to Sodium. It's a place to encourage family togetherness and things to do for everyone. I had been a few times last year when they first opened and really thought it had potential, but, it has changed, and we were a little disappointed. However, the girls still found some fun.
They did several watercolors,
The climbing wall kept the girls pretty entertained.

Tegan enjoyed running back and forth on the padding more so then climbing.
She was amped up and would sing, "gid up gid up, ride-in gow-boy, knee-hu!" (giddy up, giddy up ride 'em cowboy, yee-haw!) and something else that translated into "run like the wind bullseye." Both girls were being super cute, even if they were wild.
