Tegan called up Oma to see if she wanted to come over and play. When she answered, Tegan said, "Oma, you come to my house an spend night?" So Oma replied that Tegan could come down to their house and spend the night.
She was super excited. As soon as Oma and Opa got here to pick her up, she made a be-line for the door. I guess she was afraid we would change our mind?
Hailey was really sweet about it, but we still reminded her that she has had her times where she gets one-on-one time with grandparents too. Sweet Hailey said, "I am so excited for her to have fun! She is going to have so much fun living there forever!" then she turned to Tegan and said, "Tegan, it's your lucky day!"
The next day, after dropping Hailey off at school, I had the whole day to myself! I did my regular workout at the gym and then just sat. I relaxed and got caught up on some of my blog book pages. It was great.
Some of the things Tegan did was make cookies and brownies,
which, apparently she found a new way of 'licking the spoon,'
and she counted some pennies,
(thanks for the pics Oma!)
She even brought some cookies and brownies home.
I think Hailey was starting to feel a little left out because she wanted to get her picture taken with Tegan's cookies too.
After school, Hailey was wondering why Tegan was still gone and said, "I hope they don't forget to bring Tegan back!"
After 'nap'/rest time, Hailey waited, and waited, for Tegan to come home, but she didn't get to see her until after she came home from Awana.
She was so glad to finally have Tegan home (to monitor her) that she had her crying on the floor within the first minute of her walking through the door. Such sweet friends, but still quarreling sisters at times (mostly when they are both tired).
