Joy's visit

Joy and Chandler came down to visit for a few days, so one night, Joy, Julianne, Rainer and I went out to dinner.
We had a fabulous girl's night at Chuy's.
Andy was so sweet to not only be home with Hailey and Tegan, but to watch Chandler as well. He deserves a Dad/Husband/Man of the year award! =)
He even managed to capture the moments with pictures.
From the moment Cha Chi walked in, it was as if no time had passed. Hailey loved having her BFF back!
They played so nicely,
had some fun with Kelly,
Andy made them all dinner in their matching Mickey Mouse plates and cups (that I got at the Disney Store closing sale)
and he even got them dressed for bed in their matching tinker bell jammies.

By the time we got home, the girls were too tired to take a picture with us in their matching jammies, but here is our attempt!
Here is a cute video clip that Andy got on his phone of the girls dancing.

We were also able to meet up with Joy and Chandler for lunch one day at Chick-fil-A. Hailey and Chandler were having so much fun together, that neither of them wanted to leave...

We had great fun with you, Joy and Chandler!
Miss ya!

Bible Song

Here Hailey is singing "Jesus Loves Me." She calls it the Bible Song ("bye-bo sawn").
I think it is SO precious, and just warms my heart when I hear her singing as she is playing, eating, or in the car.

She sings it 3 times, but each with different verses, so turn up the volume and be blessed...

Tegan and Hailey tidbits

Tegan - "talking" and "crawling"

With all that we have been busy with, I haven't had the chance to document Tegan's progress. She is such a cutie.
For the past week she has been getting up in crawling position and will rock back and forth, she is pretty proud of herself!

Tegan has been trying to crawl, and then earlier today, she took two little crawl steps!

She still has just her two bottom teeth, but not for long. She has had all her "teething signs" and you can see the teeth buds in her top gums.

Her "first word" has been "uh-oh", (kinda like Hailey and her "Mama" first word) here's a cute little clip of Tegan and "uh-oh":

Hailey - color sorting

I will randomly find Hailey's toys around the house, and they are matched and stacked by color. She will do this when she is playing around the house. I took this on the stairs where I found it.
I heard her talk to her self, "Where pink bow go? I nut-o, use wed." So, apparently she couldn't find the pink bowl and used the red one...
If you look closely, you can see she stacked each smaller block into a large block of the same color, and they each were placed neatly on their own coaster.
I love watching the girls grow and their personalities develop. Hailey adds more and more to her sentences each day, and I feel like they are both growing up over night!
Here are a few of my favorite Hailey words, at leas the ones I can think of right now:

"OH MY!"
"No won it" - don't want it
"A-eel" - Ariel
"Mo-Maid" - Mermaid
"Sub wake" - Snow Flake
"Hip-pup" - makeup
"Hold her" (with her arms up) - when she wants you to hold her
"At are you?" - Where are you?
"I say hi who it is" - She'll say this whenever I am on the phone

Let it Shine!

We go to Let it Shine gym pretty often with my mom's group, but today was a little different. This time, not only did we go with our church, but they had some of the "bigger" kids stuff out.
Hailey was being a bit clingy, and only wanted to do things if I did them with her. I don't blame her, things were pretty scary or high up! You sit on the blue round part and hold the handles up top on this one.
So a sweet friend held Tegan while I went around with Hailey, and had Hailey, Mommy time.
Hailey started off saying "Hay's turn" but then say "no, don't want it" when I'd go to put her on, or help her climb up. So for the swing glide thing, she finally went on when it was just her and I over there, and she loved it. Of course, I was behind her because she couldn't reach the handles enough to hold onto them.
After awhile, Hailey decided it wasn't that bad to do it on her own. The first time she went down the steep slide,
she looked around and when made eye contact, she "fake cried," and said "dat scared!" then ran back to climb right back up again. Silly girl!
I can see why she'd be apprehensive, look at the rope ladder she had to climb!
It was the opposite with the longer slide. Hailey went right away, and climbed right on up,
and slid down a few times,
but after the second time, she decided she didn't want to do it anymore, and climbed back down.
I think the Hockey sticks caught her eye, and she decided to make her own fun. She saw these hockey sticks in a box by the set up arena, and she put the two together as a "goal", on the other side of the blue line, then she grabbed the ball and hit into her goal, and shouted, "Yay! I did it! I win!" Where ever she got that, I surely don't know! haha!

She still loves the trampoline the most though!
Here's a video clip of her on the running trampoline that she likes.

Perfect Weather

It has been a pretty cold winter this year. Colder than we are used to here, so when we had a beautiful "spring like weekend", we took full advantage of it.
Andy and I ran our 7 miles together outside, it was great! (we have been training to do the Country Music 1/2 Marathon in April.)
Then when the girls woke up, we walked down to the playground.

Tegan and Daddy swung on the swings,
Hailey still loves the slide,
and apparently Tegan does too!
