We have a Kindergartener and First Grader!

Kindergarten and First Grade!
Yup, we have a First grader AND a Kindergartner! Two J girls at Pearre Creek! (and one to start a Mother's Day out program, soon).

My littles aren't so little! "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, [and in your school] and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

Hailey's First Day of 1st grade!
I can't say that without signing "on the first day, of the first grade"... (from a VeggieTales Movie)... Anyhow... She was so happy to go to school. She picked out and laid out her first day of school outfit, including shoes and accessories, of course.

Her first day of first grade was a half day of school and we walked to school. (It's only a mile)
She grabbed hold of my hand (be still my heart, had to capture and hold onto that moment) and we walked to school. My toothless cutie, still so young but oh so "grown up."

Welcome to the North Woods... I think we're going to like it here...
...we, meaning me too because I am room mom, how can I not be!
 Hailey's new teacher, Mrs. Moore!
 Gotta get a cubby shot.
and a picture at the desk.
Her second day of school was her first full day. She still loves riding the bus, so we walked her down the block to her bus stop. Tegan is still anxiously awaiting her turn! Just a few more days T-T!

Hailey only had 1 boy (Isaac) in her class that was the same from Kindergarten. I was a little sad for her, but knew she would do just fine, and she has thus far. She has already made a new friend, Anna Chase, who rides the bus with her and is in class together. She has already asked to go to her house for a playdate... and assumes I should know where she lives, too cute. She is also LOVING Ms. Moore already! We are so excited for this year ahead.

Tegan's First Day of Kindergarten!! KIN-DER-GAR-TEN!!!
Finally! Tegan's day had come. Hailey had her first half day on a Friday and then her full day on Monday, and Tegan had to wait until Wednesday, to have her first (half-day) day of school.
With Kindergarten, as we saw with Hailey last year, they have so many "first" days. They start with a group 1/2 day, where only half their class starts, so Tuesday Tegan didn't go, only Group A went. Then on Wednesday, Group B, Tegan's group went.

Aug 13: Tegan's First 1/2 day of Kinder with Group B
Tegan is thrilled to have her own tote bag and start Kindergarten!
She was excited as could be!

 New Panther student coming up!
My lil TT is getting to be such a big girl. Not quite sure how I feel about this!
Hailey reluctantly walked with Tegan down the halls.
The first thing she spotted when she walked into the classroom was a book. Tegan ran over to the book shelf as she saw her newest favorite book, "Look out Kindergarten, here I come!" That title pretty much sums up Tegan and her excitement to be there.
 She searched out her cubby,
 as did Ali.
and found her desk.
It's going to be another great year with Mrs. Anderson! So So happy that Tegan gets to have her too!
Family picture! The whole fam was there to wish Tegan a happy first day of Kindergarten.
But then sadly had to leave her to her classmates and cutting project
 and first day table work.
It's just you and me kid! Ali loved having me all to herself but was also a little lost without her sissys,
so she just did what she sees them do.
She's back! That half day went by pretty quick!
The next 2 days (Th and Fri) for her were also 1/2 days, but with her whole class.
THEN they had their first FULL day finally on the following Monday!
Here she is on her first day of going on the bus. She was so excited!
Not sure Hailey was as thrilled.

She got to met Ms.Cindy their bus driver.

She's all ready with her new Kindergarten tote!
First Full day for Tegan!
Hailey has her forever long strand of obsession fun loom that she made.
 Bye girls!!
After they got on the bus, I went a bit later to the BooHoo/Yahoo Breakfast at school. I was actually surprised that I got teary-eyed. My little girls are growing up.
Ali couldn't WAIT for her sissys to come back home! She waited,
and waited, ... here it comes!! ...
 then ran!
She was pretty excited to see her sisters come off the bus. Looks like Tegan was just as happy! This was Tegan's first full day at school and so she got to ride the bus home too.

Reunited and it feels so good.
